Greencross is seeking to establish long term partnerships with partner(s) who can provide the best overall freight solution. The specific objectives of the RFP are to achieve alignment between Greencross and its freight service providers in relation to current and future business requirements AND development of a flexible freight strategy to support further network changes if required.
This RFP covers the supply of outbound freight from Greencross Distribution Centres to our Australian retail fleet (Petbarn, City Farmers) and veterinary fleet (Greencross Vets). The RFP also covers inbound freight from selected locations to our Sydney DC. The following scope is based on our current network design and is subject to change:
Outbound freight from Sydney DC (located in Horsley Park, NSW) to store footprint across Australia, as mapped in the RFP document;
Outbound freight from Brisbane DC (Willawong, QLD) to store footprint as specified in RFP document;
Inbound freight to Sydney DC (Horsley Park, NSW) ex Melbourne metro as specified in RFP document;.
