RNM is looking for EOI from companies willing and capable to provide a periodic hydraulic press, fitting service. As part of our new Forging plant there are die holders that have a removable die pressed within that will need scheduled replacement as part of our maintenance plan.
The forge manufacturer recommends a 1000t press capability. Their tests have shown that 800t was required to remove/re-fit this insert as new.
RNM would remove items from the forge and suitably clean, pack and send on freight Australia wide as necessary.
As a general indication, the steel die holders are approximately Ø700mm and 700mm tall.
The removable item is approximately Ø320mm and 535mm long with a contoured inner diameter approximately Ø150mm.
The removeable die is suitably heat treated.
