Nelson Airport Limited are looking to engage with suitably qualified contractors to progress the demolition of one of their redundant Hangars. After a long and useful life, Hangar 3 is no longer fit for purpose, and due to its location in the masterplan of airport development now requires removal. The Principal is therefore interested to discuss the most robust, safe and effective method of demolishing this 1500m2 Hangar with contractors who can demonstrate a proven ability to conduct operations of this scale in a professional manner.

The Hangar has some recently surveyed Asbestos, and is also adjacent to the 'airside' environment, as such interest from contractors with experience in these aspects will be advantageous. All existing relevant documentation will be provided to selected qualified parties who respond to this notice.

Experience with the reuse and /or Innovative proposals to reuse native timbers will also be of interest to the Principal.
