The Participants are seeking, through this EOI process, to start a journey that is intended to end with the adoption of a partnership agreement to establish, manage and realise the best value from up to 70,000 tonnes of dry recyclable materials from Participants' annual combined domestic 'yellow bin' collections.
Participants are seeking cradle to cradle, circular solutions for the receipt, processing and beneficial re-use of up to 70,000 tonnes of dry recyclables collected annually from the yellow bin domestic service provided to the communities of the Participants' regions. Opportunities to expand the service into other dry recyclables or materials would also be considered.
Through this EOI process the Participants intend to explore what solutions are, or what solutions could be, available to the Participants in the Hunter and Central Coast region assuming that sufficient tenure of contract (+25yrs) and sufficient funding was made available. This includes materials from 9 Councils across the Hunter and Central Coast Regions.
