Greyhound Racing Victoria (GRV) is the statutory authority responsible for promoting and controlling the greyhound sport throughout Victoria created by the Racing Act 1958 to fulfil the dual role of regulating the industry and expanding the industry.

GRV has the task of ensuring that industry participants fully understand their responsibilities in relation to the greyhounds they own and train. They support and encourage continual improvement of training and husbandry techniques through research and education and are committed to the ongoing welfare of greyhounds throughout their racing careers and into retirement.

GRV is seeking design and engineering service providers to establish a panel to support the planned infrastructure delivery program. The program is a GRV initiative that aims to continue the organisation’s track safety focus through delivery of high priority infrastructure projects over a 5-year period.

GRV is seeking responses from Invitees with the capability and capacity to provide a broad range of architectural design and engineering services. The areas of service directly relate to the following trades:

• Civil
• Track Rail
• Electrical & Lighting
• Fencing
• Irrigation
• Landscaping
• Car Park and traffic management
• Building refurbishment and construction
• Ventilation

The scope of services includes:

• Work with Club and GRV staff to ascertain usable infrastructure and design suitable specifications,
• Assist with community consultation
• Working with local council and other land holders and associations
• Design/architecture services
• Engineering, Geotech service management
• Technical specifications pertaining to irrigation, lighting and electrical, traffic management, fire services,
• Prepare quantity surveyor costings
• Assist with evaluation of bids
• Construction observation to ensure adherence to design, including on-site visits
• As built drawings
