The Principal invites the Tenderer to submit a Tender for the design and construction of a new campground amenity building at its Batman Reserve Campground located in Indented Heads Victoria, 3223.

The Principal is responsible for the statutory management of the Batman Park Seasonal Camp Ground. The authority to manage the campground and associated foreshore area is delegated to Bellarine Bayside Foreshore Committee of Management under provisions in the Victorian Crown Land Reserves Act 1978.

The campground is located in the hamlet of Indented Heads. It is a 3.3 Ha sector of the 300 Ha, 17km long foreshore area, located on the Bellarine Peninsula east of the City of Geelong.

The campground consist of 129 camp sites, with existing kitchen, toilet, shower and public facilities. It is seasonally operational between Late October and Late April (6 months) each year. During the alternative period (May to September) the campground and its associated amenities are closed for camping purposes.
The existing amenities are dated to early 1970s period and do not meet the requirements of the modern camping experience, particularly in consideration of access to all abilities people.

Upgrading the amenity to enhance the experience and accessibility of the user groups, and better match the needs of contemporary camping experience is required to maintain the camp grounds reputation and market competitiveness.
The Bellarine Bayside Foreshore Committee of Management is seeking responses to this invitation for the provision of design and construction services for the following amenities
Public Toilets Male & Female
Camp Kitchen
Camp Toilets & Showers
Outdoor seating and BBQ areas.
Sewage Dump Point
This invitation is design and construct invitation only. Tenderers should be capable of providing all of the services as a required by the request. Part or incomplete tenders will not be considered for evaluation.
