Bravus Mining and Resources is opening expressions of interest for suitably qualified and experienced contractors to complete the design, supply, construction & commissioning for several office complexes, crib & ablutions complex at the Mine Industrial Area at the Carmichael Mine.

Vendors expressing interest should have experienced in, and capacity to deliver all elements of works as detailed below:

Primary infrastructure include:

• Operations management & technical services office

• Maintenance office

• Crib & training room complex

• Principal’s office (Bravus) operations

• Principal’s construction office (Bravus – temporary hired)

• Control room / area

• Raised and undercover area joining the above complexes

• Car park design / layout and traffic flow assessment

Design, supply, construct and commission:

• Facilities, complexes, structures and associated equipment in accordance with LGA approval submission & building certification.

• Civil works including building foundations, pathways & bus shelter

• Installation and complexing facilities, decking and covered areas

• Electrical & power reticulation, internal and external localised lighting.

• Power supply generators

• Services including potable water & septic tanks, pumps and reticulation

• Fire system compliance (report issued by Bravus)

• Communication wifi access points

• Fit-out (furniture, cribbing & messing equipment, wash-basins etc)

Exclusions:

• Bulk earthworks and area preparation

• Supply of concrete materials

• Supply of communications/internet to facility

• Car park construction

• Supply of water

• Removal of septic waste

Works will be undertaken on and off a coal mining lease and will require compliance to the Companies onsite systems under the QLD Coal Mining Safety and Health Regulations and under the Contractors systems as a Principal Contractor under the QLD Workplace Health and Safety act and regulations when off the mining lease.
