Tender Description
Parengarenga Incorporation (PINC) owns and operates their own pine forests around the village of Te Kao in the Far North District of New Zealand. Log transport is outsourced and is going out to tender.
A three-year or five-year term will be considered, commencing January 2024. Expected volumes are 90,000 tonnes in the first year: 95,000 tonnes in the second year and 100,000 tonnes annually for years three to five. Markets target mills in Kaitaia and Waipapa, with some arisings if needed to Whangarei and export (Marsden Point).
We are looking to receive expressions of interest by end January, deliver a full Information memorandum and tender documents to interested parties during the first week of February, receive tenders by end February and make decisions by end March this year. Tenders will be evaluated using weighted attributes.
Expressions of interest close at the end of January 2023.
