Tender Description
The Contractor shall design, supply, deliver to site and install water collection and storage tanks.
Contractors wishing to be considered must be able to demonstrate their ability to complete the following tasks:
o Design of water collection and storage tanks including provision of the concrete ring beam design for all tanks.
o Supply and installation of seven (7) off water tanks as following:
- o Two (2) off raw water forwarding tanks with a gross capacity of 1620 KL (nominal). Materials of construction 1.6 mm (minimum) Zincalume with high strength high spec PVC/Polyester liner and trafficable roof.
- o Four (4) off raw water / fire water storage tanks with a gross capacity of 3000 KL (nominal). Materials of construction 1.6 mm (minimum) Zincalume with high strength high spec PVC/Polyester liner and trafficable roof.
- o One (1) off recycled water tank storage tanks with a gross capacity of 254 KL. (nominal). Materials of construction 1.6 mm (minimum) Zincalume with high strength high spec PVC/Polyester liner and trafficable roof.
o Tank design to conform to Rio Tinto specifications and standards with a design life of 25 years.
o High Safety, Environment and Health values and record;
o Excellent quality control, assurance and performance record;
o Demonstrate innovative and value improvement practices; and
o Reliable delivery within programme and budget requirements.
