Tender Description
The Borough of Queenscliffe (Council) is seeking suitably qualified and experienced providers for the following works;
- Demolition & Removal of Asbestos Containing Materials Affecting the building and surrounds at 4 Wharf Street Queenscliff.
- Reinstatement of affected materials, re-installation of building services with mains connections (current services are cut), and structural repairs.
The building is located within the Queenscliff Maritime Museum precinct and is on the corner of Beach and Wharf Street. The building is known as the Fishermen's Co-op. A hygienist will be engaged separately to monitor the removal works. The borough of Queenscliff is working in partnership with the Victorian Asbestos Eradication Authority, VAEA.
