2023 Community Street, Walk & Ensuite project is an important Infrastructure investment Project for Beechworth Health Service, partly funded by:

• 2018-19 Regional Health Infrastructure Fund Round 3: Public Sector Residential Aged Care Services Allocation
• 2020-2021 Rural Residential Aged Care Facilities Renewal Fund

The works consist of 3 parts:

1. Demolition and refurbishment of Community Street (Undercover entry, Cafe, Resident library and activity spaces)

2. Construction of Community Walk (Fenced walkway for residents enjoyment)

3. Demolition of three shared Ensuites and Construction of six Individual Ensuites

Works are to be carried out on an occupied site which consists of residential aged care, Acute care ward, allied health, and other various community service operations.

The work will require the contractor to work closely with Beechworth Health Service for the duration of the construction and defects liability period to ensure all existing services are able to continue operating through the demolition and construction of the proposed works.
