Tender Details
Tender Description
The Independent Health and Aged Care Pricing Authority (IHACPA) is an independent government agency established by the Commonwealth as part of the National Health Reform Act 2011. IHACPA was established to contribute to reforms to improve Australian public hospitals and aged care.
A major component of these reforms is providing education and engagement to a broad range of stakeholders across the health and aged care sectors and the general public. This has historically been achieved through holding annual conferences. In 2024, a Summit will be held.
IHACPA requires the services of a Professional Conference Organiser (PCO) to assist with the planning, management and delivery of the IHACPA Summit 2024 to be held at ICC Sydney on 2-3 July 2024. The Summit may be delivered as a hybrid event.
It is anticipated there will be between 200-300 delegates attending in-person and up to 500 delegates attending virtually per day, although the successful Tenderer should have the capacity to accommodate changes from the estimated delegate numbers.
The event format includes two summit days with two social functions. The summit days will comprise of keynote, panel, concurrent speaker sessions and workshops. All sessions will be either live streamed or recorded for the virtual audience. The social calendar will include a dinner held on day one and a breakfast held on day two, both of which the successful tenderer will also be responsible for organising.
The objective of this project is to engage a Professional Conference Organiser who will, in consultation with IHACPA, suppliers and the summit focus group, assist in delivering the summit.
