The University of Melbourne is inviting Respondents to submit a formal response to this Expression of Interest (EOI) to undertake the Main Works construction of the AIID under a Novate Design and Construct contract.

The University is seeking an appropriately experienced Principal Contractor to undertake the completion of Main Works Construction for a new purpose-built biomedical research facility to house the Australian Institute for Infectious Disease (AIID). This will be a world-leading facility to assist in the fight against infectious diseases and global health issues and to ensure that AIID achieves its vision and objectives.

Respondents may seek clarification of any part of the Invitation or request additional information. This must be through the Portal and in writing.

All correspondence and requests for further information regarding this Invitation must be made through the portal.

Respondents must not discuss the AIID Project, or EOI with any other representatives of the University, State, Foundation Partners, AIID Consultant Team or any other contacts seeking clarification or further information regarding this EOI or the AIID project. Please follow these strict communication protocols.

Any information given to a Respondent to clarify any aspect of the Invitation documents will also be given to other Respondents.

Submission of questions after the clarification due date may not be responded to.
