Alpine Resorts Victoria Energy Performance & Feasibility Study
Tender ID: 566352
Tender Details
Tender Description
In October 2022, Alpine Resorts Victoria was established under the Alpine Resorts (Management) Act 1997, with a single board overseeing all alpine resorts in the State, superseding the previous arrangement with four boards responsible for the management and operation of alpine resorts.
ARV’s off grid sites (Lake Mountain, Mt Baw Baw and Mt Stirling) are subject to extreme unit costs associated with energy production. This has a substantial impact on investment, energy security and financial performance.
This project aims to baseline the current energy performance of ARV’s off-grid resorts and examine long term energy improvements over the coming 20-year period prior to net zero emissions compliance in the state of Victoria.
The project will examine the feasibility of renewal energy opportunities, as well as energy efficiency measures and will provide an implementation action plan for ARV to transform the energy performance of these resorts.
