The Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action (DEECA) is the managing road authority for approximately 35,000 km of roads and tracks in state forests and 14,000 km in parks and reserves, covering 7.1 million hectares of public land in Victoria. Most of this network provides essential access into the public land estate for numerous land uses including fire management and suppression, forest management, utilisation and commercial activities, and recreational pursuits. DEECA is seeking responses to this request for tender (RFT) for the provision of recovery works along Drummer Road in the Snowy district. The works include resheeting a section of road, totalling approximately 8000m in length, using crushed rock provided by DEECA and supplemented by rock to be supplied and delivered by contractor.
