Economic Development Queensland (EDQ) is procuring a principal contractor for contamination remediation at Site E, F and H at Yeerongpilly Green.

Site F: 19 Godiva Avenue, Yeerongpilly QLD 4105 (11/SP328497)

Site E & H: 41 Godiva Avenue, Yeerongpilly QLD 4105 (503/SP328497).

This project consists of two phases, as noted below:

• Phase 1 – Remediation Works
• Phase 2 – Validation Testing

Phase 1: Remediation Works

Site mobilisation and facilities setup

Provide services for the excavation of contaminated soil. The time frame on site is expected to be four weeks.

• Asbestos pipe and soil 30m3

• C&D waste

Undertaken or engage a sub-contractor for offsite soil disposal haulage to landfill.

Engage a hygienist for:

• Deployment of boundary Asbestos air monitoring

• Availability for ad hoc ACM fragment sampling if observed

• And surface clearance certificate at end of works

Phase 2: Validation Testing

Provisions of excavator and labour to excavate test pits

Survey test pit locations (allow 1 week on site for sampling)

Green hatch – site for remediation works

Blue hatch – asbestos pipe and soil approximate location
