DFAT has a requirement for a Quality Investment Support Services (QISS) for the Indonesia Program.
Regular and systematic monitoring, evaluation, learning, and adaptation is essential to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of DFAT’s Indonesia development program (Indonesia Program), support adaptive management of investments, provide the basis for reporting to the public, and contribute to dialogue with development partners. The Indonesia Program is committed to continuously improving its monitoring, evaluation and learning approach with a focus on accountability and decision-making support. Strengthened whole-of-government contributions, Gender, Disability and Social Inclusion (GEDSI) and locally-led development will also be core to our approach.
Since 2014, the Indonesia Program has engaged a contractor to deliver consultancy service that supports high quality design, monitoring and evaluation, performance and quality reporting through application and adherence to DFAT policy and standards. The service works with all Indonesia development programs and liaises with Development Effectiveness and Humanitarian (DEH) Section in DFAT Jakarta Post and Indonesia Desk in Canberra.
