Isaac Regional Council (IRC) require a suitably qualified and experienced Contractor to implement the Works as set out below and in tender documentation in accordance with the provided specification and drawings under the contract.

The project is to upgrade a 1.7 km section of Eaglefield Road, between Ch. 16.77 to Ch. 18.47, from gravel to bitumen seal. The construction project aims to minimise the operational impact for Council by decreasing maintenance grading and re-sheeting works.

Works include:

• Road formation as per the Capricorn Municipal Development Guidelines resulted in proposed width of 8.0m and comprising of 2 x 3.5m wide traffic lanes with 0.5m wide sealed shoulders.

• A two (2) coat seal with emulsion prime.

• The construction of one (1) bed level concrete floodway of nominal size 8m (width) x 30m (bed level length) at Ch. 16.82 as a provisional item.
