Expressions of Interest (EOI) are invited from organisations wishing to be considered to tender for the proposed contract to provide the Rail Industry Worker (RIW) Program.
The EOI is the first stage of a multi-stage tender process. The objective of the EOI process is to identify organisations that are interested in entering into the proposed contract and have suitable capacity, capability and experience. The proposed contract will be between the successful tenderer and the ARA.
The scope of work under the proposed contract is to manage the RIW program (including the online management of Rail Industry Workers’ records, training and competencies and distribution of the RIW cards). We are interested in contracting with an organisation that is able to administer such a system with minimal disruption to the program. The ARA will consider and encourages innovative proposals around the future delivery of the RIW Program.
Note that this is a brief overview of the proposed contract and the scope of work. More details will be included in the Request for Tender (RFT) documents provided to organisations that are invited to submit tenders as a result of this EOI process. Responding to this EOI does not guarantee that ARA will invite an organisation to submit an RFT.
