The City of Cockburn (The Principal) requires commercial water treatment & plant services at the Cockburn Aquatic & Recreation Centre (Cockburn ARC).

Tenderers must demonstrate they have previous experience in providing maintenance services for aquatic facilities.

All work shall be executed to the satisfaction of the Principal in strict accordance with the Contract, the Specification, the Schedule of Rates and with any working instructions provided by the Principal as the service proceeds.

The objective of this Specification is to ensure Cockburn ARC is provided with a level of service which ensures the ongoing maintenance and care of the water treatment systems serving the swimming pools, and water slides.

The proposed Contract has provision to negotiate additional services throughout the service term if required by the Principal.

The Specification is to be read in the context it is written and will be the basis upon which the Contractor is to achieve an acceptable standard and level of service.

The proposed Contract shall be in force for a period of three (3) years from the date of award; with Principal instigated options to extend the period for one (1) subsequent year and up to an additional twelve (12) months after that, to a maximum of five (5) years.

The Contract is expected to commence in January 2025.
