Tender Details
Tender Description
This Tender is invited by the Issuer.
The Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade) has identified a risk that may arise from the potential effects of an interruption to critical business operations for its Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. The CRM is built on the Microsoft Power Platform and Austrade is seeking to remediate this risk in alignment with the organisation’s risk tolerance.
Austrade is seeking to assess the different risk tolerances of various business stakeholders, document the ‘desired state’, conduct a business impact assessment (BIA) to understand the effects of potential disruptions to operations, create a disaster recovery plan (DRP) utilising current capabilities, and provide recommendations to improve system resilience and recovery.
Discovery Phase:
- Conduct interviews and workshops with key technical and business stakeholders to understand the present state and inform the desired state.
- Review existing documentation for the Microsoft Power Platform configuration and any disaster recovery policies and procedures published for other systems.
Definition and Development Phase:
- Produce a Business Impact Assessment (BIA) to identify critical business functions, potential impacts, and desired Recovery Point Objectives (RPOs) and Recovery Time Objectives (RTOs).
- Define business and technical requirements to meet the desired state.
- Develop a high-level disaster recovery plan utilizing Microsoft’s native backup and restore capabilities.
- Compile a report containing:
- A complete BIA of the present state.
- A high-level disaster recovery plan utilizing Microsoft’s native backup and restore capabilities, documenting all necessary elements of the plan in alignment with the format of current disaster recovery documentation for other Austrade systems.
- A gap analysis of the present state capabilities and the desired state requirements.
- Recommendations to enhance data security and ensure that critical information within the Microsoft Power Platform is protected against loss or corruption.
