The Rural City of Wangaratta (RCoW) is seeking a suitably qualified contractor to undertake the construction of changing places in accordance with Changing Places design specifications 2020. The facility will be built in Apex Park, Wangaratta.

Apex Park in Wangaratta is a large open recreation space, with an accessible playground, Parkour, existing amenities block and is a central meeting point for community members and visitors.

For people with a disability to gain the social benefits of using the existing infrastructure, including pathways, play spaces, picnic shelters and BBQ facilities, they require safe, accessible toilet amenities. Currently this is not available anywhere in Wangaratta. Providing a Changing Places facility will increase participation in active and passive recreation for people with disability, and their families and careers.

  Tenders will include the following:

• Completion of Response Schedule as supplied (completion is mandatory).
• Construction Methodology to be submitted as part of assessment.
• Works programme/timeline showing key dates and milestones.
• Evidence of experience in successfully delivering similar types of projects.
• Completion of the Schedule of Rates spreadsheet (information to be submitted in the provided template).
• Tenderers should make their own assessment of the Services to be provided and base their tenders accordingly.
