The Public Transport South Australia (PTSA) [formerly the South Australian Public Transport Authority (SAPTA)] requires creative development services to support the implementation of Phase 4, Stage 3 of the Adelaide Metro Ticketing Upgrade.

In the lead-up to this stage, smart validators (accepting metroCARD only) have been fitted to trains, and new gates to the Adelaide Railway Station (ARS).

In late 2025, Stage 3 will culminate in a ‘switchover event’ which will see the ARS gates become operational and the smart validators on trains enabled for the whole suite of ‘tap and travel’ ticket options (metroCARD, Tap and Pay, and Buy & Go).
