Request for Proposal Monarto Zoo is seeking an operator for its cafe & function centre operations from early 2016. Monarto Zoo operates seven days a week, 365 days a year and is located an easy one hour drive from Adelaide, just off the South Eastern Freeway. It is the largest open range zoo in Australia and attracts in excess of 120,000 visitors per annum. Catering operations include a busy cafe with indoor and outdoor dining located at the main visitor hub of the Visitor Information Centre, in addition to the Waterhole Pavilion Function Centre.

The site caters for day visitors, group tours, school groups, weddings and functions. We seek interest from operators with a passion to grow the business as we grow, using the unique surroundings and experiences to actively develop the function business, and offer exceptional menu and catering choices to cater for the Zoos visitor demographics.
