Warringah Council (Council) invites tenders from experienced civil contractors for the undertaking of the construction of a buried seawall, toe reinforcement of an existing seawall, and restoration of a damaged section of carpark at South Curl Curl beach, Curl Curl.

Council is seeking tenders from suitably qualified contractors to carry out the following scope of works, which include but are not limited to:
* Establishment on site including mobilisation of plant, equipment and personnel;
* Provision of temporary works (including protection of the works during construction and if required provision of dewatering) and facilities;
* Provision and maintenance of environmental control provisions for the duration of the Works;
* Investigations to identify locations of underground services and infrastructure;
* Investigations to confirm geotechnical strata levels;
* Provision of plant and labour to assist with Council Engineer's inspection of the existing seawall toe;
* Installation of new concrete secant pile wall, capping beam, and permanent anchors including associated earthworks;
* Backfilling excavation zones using stockpiled material;
* Installation of rock blanket;
* Disposal of materials which are excess to requirements;
* Partial demolition and excavation of existing promenade to the landward side of the beach access ramp;
* Supply, placement and compaction of material to fill cavities beneath the excavation zone;
* Retention/replacement of signage and services;
* Construction of new pavements and subgrades;
* Reinstatement of items affected by the construction works carried out;
* Removal of environmental control provisions, temporary works and facilities; and
* Disestablishment from site including demobilisation of plant, equipment and personnel.

The works are to be carried out strictly in accordance with the requirements in this document. To have tenders considered, contractors will need to ensure that all required information requested in the Request for Tender document is provided.
