The CBH Group are seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) to provide road transport services for the transportation of bulk grain from its regional storage network to rail hub sites and grain export terminals located in Geraldton, Kwinana and Albany.

Indicative volumes of road transport services agreements on offer are;
* Geraldton (Export) - 175,000 - 640,000 tonnes per annum;
* All Zones (Harvest Dedicated Fleet) - 50,000 - 165,000 tonnes per harvest period (October to January); and
* Albany (Export) - 480,000 - 1,300,000 tonnes per annum.

Historically, the Geraldton zone has been serviced by one road contractor, with the Albany zone split between two contractors due to the higher grain volumes and distances.

The road transport service agreements will typically be offered on five year terms to allow for optimal transport fleet utilisation, with the opportunity to build a strong foundation for other regional transport services. These agreements will look commence in October/November 2018.

CBH is seeking transport operators who have:
* Demonstrated safety management systems and culture;
* Flexible fleet combinations to service a variety of sites and task;
* Willingness and passion to be part of, and play an integral role in the Western Australian grain industry; and
* Ability to flex capacity with seasonal demand; typically peaking at - 2,000 tonnes per day in Geraldton and 7,000 tonnes per day in Albany.

This is a dynamic industry with a supply chain that requires safe, motivated and capable road transporters to help meet our customer export demand.
