Tender ID: 405626
Tender Details
Tender Description
OCHT in partnership with Christchurch City Council (CCC) seeks to establish a supply agreement in both parties' names with a preferred Kitchen and Bathroom extract supplier and with guaranteed supply availability.
The supply agreement will provide extracts at fixed agreed rates (Schedule of Rates) inclusive of own margin and GST. A panel of installation providers will be established separately by each party. These trades will directly procure the extracts from the successful tenderer.
The supply of the extracts will be in three tranches:
The first approximately 450 bathroom and kitchen extracts will be supplied in time for the panel of installers to install between February and 1 June 2020. We anticipate that the team will be installing circa 6-10 units of each per day.
The second tranche will follow on from the first tranche. The number of extracts to be installed daily will be determined based on the social housing upgrade programme and budget and new developments underway in 2020. This tranche may be increased by a further 450 to 550 units. The delivery of the second tranche will follow the model set out above for first tranche.
The Third Tranche will be for the balance of our housing stock. This will be approximately 1000 kitchen and bathroom extracts, but exact numbers are uncertain at this stage.
The typical dwelling in the OCHT portfolio is approximately 35m2 to 50m2. It will be up to the supplier and installer are to decide on the exact size and location of the extract required for the dwelling. The extract must have enough capacity to meet the requirements set out Healthy Homes Standards. We believe that the kitchen must have a min 150mm diameter or an exhaust capacity of 50l/s, The bathroom extract must have 120mm diameter or an exhaust capacity of 25l/s.
