Catholic Education Tasmania (CET) is a community of thirty-eight schools and colleges with 2,500 staff supporting over 16,000 students.

CET seeks Expressions of Interest (EOI) from suitability qualified and experienced providers to inspire creative and courageous initiatives for raising aspirations for students, staff and communities and achieve excellence in learning and teaching animated by faith.

This is a new initiative driven by CET to determine which interventions and experiences are most effective in improving the educational and wellbeing outcomes for our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students. This project will work in partnership with schools, Tasmanian Catholic Education Office leaders and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community members in providing the following:

1. Identification of optimal, evidence-based interventions and experiences proven to improve Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander student outcomes
2. Clear direction and educational framework for future programming
3. Assistance with planning and resource allocation
4. Accountability for the responsible spending of Grant funds and deliverables outlined in each school’s annual plan for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander education

CET supports the rights of children and young people and is committed to providing a safe and supportive environment directed at ensuring their safety and wellbeing. Providers will require satisfactory registrations relevant to child safety and national police checks.
