Expression of Interest for the Provision of Radiologist Services for the BreastScreen Victoria Reading & Assessment Service for Goulburn Valley Health

Goulburn Valley Health will be starting a new Reading and Assessment Service in partnership with BreastScreen Victoria in Q3 of 2021. The BreastScreen Victoria (BSV) reach for this area will be a population of 52,104 with a growing rate of 0.9%. 13, 841 of the target population aged 50-74 will be invited to screen at Goulburn Valley (Shepparton)BreastScreen. The region covers a lower socio-economic status area and has a large migrant population and the largest Aboriginal population outside of Melbourne. In 2017-19, there was a 55.9% participation rate in women aged 50-74.

The objective of Goulburn Valley Health in the provision a BreastScreen Reading & Assessment Services is for clients imaged under the auspices of BreastScreen Victoria to be reported locally and any subsequent assessment to be conducted on the premises of Goulburn Valley Health

The successful service provider is required to assist Goulburn Valley Health to achieve its objectives in delivering high quality, safe care to BreastScreen Victoria clients.
