AHV is an Aboriginal community organisation responsible for managing over 1,500 rental properties for Aboriginal and /or Torres Strait Islander people living in Victoria.

AHV has the distinction of not only being the largest Aboriginal registered housing agency in Australia but is also the lead agency for Victoria's Aboriginal housing and homelessness policy known as Mana-na worn-tyeen maar-takoort.

On 21 May 2020, the Victorian Government announced it was seeking to boost Aboriginal social housing through a building blitz that will deliver new homes and dozens of repairs, upgrades and maintenance work for existing properties.

As part of this blitz, Aboriginal Housing Victoria ('AHV') has secured significant funding towards this project known as the Aboriginal Rapid Housing Respond Program ('ARHRP' or the 'Project').

The Project will deliver a $34MIL package of upgrades and maintenance to properties used as Aboriginal social housing across the State.

The Project is scheduled to commence in early 2022 and is to be completed end of 2022, under a staged roll out of works.

This package of works represents the first tranche of solar installations.
