We would like to ascertain the level of interest in providing a fire alarm upgrade pathway for the Auckland City Hospital for the following works as soon as possible:

As part of the Facilities Infrastructure Remediation Programme, Te Whatu Ora – Health New Zealand has identified the need to upgrade the fire alarm systems within the main five buildings on the Auckland City Hospital campus.

Proposed Works

The existing fire alarm systems installed are a mixture of Tyco 4428/MX1 Panels with QE90 evacuation panels and I/O net or mechanical shutdown. The intent is to upgrade the systems and provide redundancy to allow for future works. The current systems are typically wired using a responder configuration and the voice evacuation system is only within the public areas.

Potential expansion of the scope could include
• Provision of graphics system to a central command centre within the campus
