Tender Description
The Technology Architecture Team is responsible for guiding the development and lifecycle management of infrastructure solutions that support the department’s business objectives. Solutions include platforms, projects, new technologies and processes. The team also orchestrates solution delivery for new and emerging requirements and works with subject matter experts across the Infrastructure and Platforms Branch to refresh or retire products, services or systems that are end of life.
The Technology Architecture team are seeking a Cloud Solutions Architect to work closely with the SMEs and business stakeholders to provide architectural support for the delivery of ICT projects and ensuring proposals are in line with the ICT strategy and business objectives.
Duties:
- Working closely with technology and development teams within the department to ensure proposed solutions are fit for purpose and meet security requirements.
- Interpret functional and non-functional requirements to guide architectural design.
- Research and provide architectural guidance for existing and new technologies being proposed for new solutions.
- Review high level and detailed design documentation to provide guidance and constructive feedback.
- Build strong working relationships with TSD clients to encourage information sharing between business and technology teams.
