Tender Description
Health and Wellbeing Queensland is seeking offers to deliver Pick of the Crop, a whole-school nutrition program to increase children's vegetable and fruit consumption, during the 2023 school year to participating schools in the Department of Education Region of North Queensland.
The Pick of the Crop program is expanding, and in addition to 13 schools that implemented the program in North Queensland in 2022, a small funding grant will be offered by Health and Wellbeing Queensland to approximately 25 additional state primary schools in the region to participate in the program.
The successful Supplier will be required to:
- employ a regional coordinator
- support implementation of individual school action plans
- establish connections with local producers and community stakeholders
- engage with parents and carers
- promote the program
- participate in meetings and activities to support management of the program
