Gwydir Shire Council is seeking a communication specialist to review Council's current telecommunication systems and give recommendations for better utilisation or improvements.

Due to diverse range of environments, we operate in, communications can be problematic for Council. Council has an existing two-way communication network, including repeater towers that has not been used actively for several years. Evaluation of the suitability of this system for shire-wide communication, along with any required upgrades is sought.
