Wind Condition Monitoring
Tender ID: 556811
Tender Details
Tender Description
Meridian Energy are investigating the feasibility of outsourcing our wind turbine condition monitoring to a third-party provider.
Meridian's wind condition monitoring programme was set up with the establishment of in-house maintenance at 4 wind sites (Te Uku, Te Apiti, West Wind and White Hill). Meridian currently actively monitors 174 turbines. The number of turbines and turbine specifications are available to bona fide respondents upon request.
Currently all monitoring, data interpretation, reporting and follow up is conducted in-house by Meridian.
What we need/What is in scope
The procurement is for continuous remote monitoring, analysis, accurate timely reporting and diagnosis of any developing issues with recommended intervention based on Meridian's online wind turbine data.
The procurement will also request inclusion of device maintenance, parts and replacement (as required and authorized by Meridian's asset management team) onsite at Te Uku, Te Apiti, West Wind and White Hill.
This registration of interest seeks to identify and select capable suppliers with non-binding indications of cost.
At such time as Meridian achieves internal funding approval, selected suppliers from this ROI will be invited to respond to a second stage closed tender, requiring a more detailed response and binding pricing offer.
What we don't want/What is out of scope
We are not seeking a lengthy detailed response. Approximately one page for each of the evaluation criteria will be sufficient. More detail will be considered, however, we are seeking an indication of the respondent's ability to present complex information in simple terms.
We are not seeking responses offering replacement of all current on-site devices, or responses from new entrants to the wind turbine monitoring and analysis market.
What's important to us?
Meridian seeks responses from capable suppliers who can demonstrate wide experience and a broad range of current real time monitoring, analysis and timely reporting of wind turbine data.
