As ‘Principal Consultant the following scope of work will apply.

• Review of AECOM Condition assessment Report’s as applicable to the field to ascertain the scope and extent of the engineering design / documentation required for each discipline specific issue.
• Define a design / documentation deliverables schedule for each discipline.
• Prepare Trade specific Tender packages for market pricing by Building Contractors.
• Review of Building Contractor Tenders and make recommendation of award.
• Prepare ‘Issue for Construction‘ documentation.
• Advise the Principal on program related activities of plant and equipment lead times, shut down / changeover of main services and services testing and commissioning.
• Advise and coordinate the requirements of local authorities, statutory and legislative bodies having jurisdiction over the works.
• Review of fabrication and installation shop drawings and methodologies.
• Witness testing of local area commissioning and integrated systems testing.
• Review and comment on test and commission results.
• Commercial assessment of the monthly Building Contractors progress claim.
• Commercial assessment of variation claims.
• Quality Management of the installation.
• Advise on the requirements of Operation and Maintenance manuals.
• Weekly site inspections and submission of a report.
• Administration of RFI’s during delivery.
• Attendance at a weekly site meeting for 20 weeks.
• Conduct a ‘Defect‘ inspection when advised by the Building Contractor.
• Advise the Principal on the issuing of Practical Completion to the Building Contractor.
