Expressions of interest are open for a Physician Member to join the Consumer Advisory Group (CAG).
Description
The RACP is looking for a Physician Member with relevant high-level communication skills, demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity, and governance/regulatory and oversight experience.
The CAG provides advice on the integration of patient centred care in the College’s professional standards and education approaches; and supports the integration of the consumer voice and priorities into policy and advocacy activities.
The CAG has a role in ensuring the College continues to deliver high quality physician education and training programs, support future health care systems, and provide health policy leadership.
Key Responsibilities include:
- providing advice to support effective implementation of strategies to improve consumer engagement and patient centred care across College activities
- providing strategic advice on the integration of patient centred care in the College’s professional standards and education approaches
- providing a central focus in integrating the consumer voice and priorities into policy and advocacy activities at the College
The CAG meets 4 times per year, mostly via Zoom.
