Ballina Shire Council is seeking to engage a suitably qualified and experienced service provider to manage advertising space on advertising bus shelters; and to clean, maintain, refurbish bus shelters and associated bus stop infrastructure in a manner which enables council to :

• support improvements in public transport bus services with appropriate resourcing and investment in bus stop and shelter amenity

• deliver a consistent, customer focused approach and improved level of amenity which addresses passenger priorities including safety, security, cleanliness, maintained facilities, and convenience

• promote partnership, openness and trust with an industry partner

• achieve efficiency, flexibility and value for money through a coordinated approach and allocation of risks to parties best able to manage them

The contract term is for a period of eight (8) years (initial term) from the commencement date and Council may extend the contract term in 1- or 2-year increments (further term) by a maximum total period of 5 years from the expiry of the of the initial term.
