QAS is looking for ONE suitably qualified senior sports dietitian with high level experience working in an Elite Sports Environment / High Performance Systems to provide services for up to 5 days per week.

The role will require a unique set of skills combining the need for clinical nutritional support (up to 4 days per week) and the leading of Swimming Australia’s nutritional direction (1 day per week) including the overseeing of Swimming Australia projects and strategy across the national network. The role will require also leadership capabilities to manage a small team of Sports Dietitians.

Successful supplier (practitioner) will primarily work at sport programs training environment based in Brisbane. The Supplier may also be required to travel to Queensland Academy of Sport, located at 468 Kessel Road, Nathan QLD, and other locations as required from time to time.

The proposed contract is for an initial term from 6 January 2025 to 28 February 2027, with an option to extend for a further 2 years till 28 February 2029 at the discretion of QAS.
