TasWater is actively pursuing solutions from one or more skilled and knowledgeable industry partners to launch proof-of-concept trials for digital water meters that harness the capabilities of both NB-IoT and LPWAN/LoRaWAN technologies.

Tenderers need to recognise that 'turnkey' encompasses more than merely the Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) solution. Successful proponents will be accountable for the comprehensive end-to-end design, supply, and installation of meters in accordance with TasWater's standards, as well as for the implementation of the AMI solution, customisation for seamless data integration into our existing systems, and the provision of training, maintenance, and ongoing technical support.

Tenderers must familiarise themselves with the Request for Proposal document, specifically Tender Form Attachment 2, which outlines the mandatory criteria that they must meet in order to be eligible for evaluation. They should also follow the provided instructions regarding the preparation of their tender response.
