Tender Description
Thames-Coromandel District Council (TCDC) require a suitably experienced construction contractor to carry out the upgrade and new works on Whitianga refuse transfer station utilising NZS 3910:2013.
The contract is for a Main Contractor to undertake contract works that include but are not limited to:
bulk earthworks over ± 17,290m2 area.
construction of enclosed Refuse Transfer Station (RTS) building.
construction of weigh-bridge foundations and kiosk.
finishing and fitout of facility office.
construction of external works, including extensive heavy-traffic pavement areas, drainage, fencing and planting.
engaging nominated subcontractors and suppliers were selected by Thames Coromandel District Council.
liaison with separately engaged contractors of the kitset office building, weigh-bridge units, compactor, interlocking block bunker walls and speed shelter.
provision of full onsite management of all health and safety requirements whilst the new facility is constructed.
provision of comprehensive Operation and Maintenance Manuals, including CAD as-built drawings on completion of the project.
