ABOUT THE COUNCIL:
Stretching from Palm Beach to Manly, the Northern Beaches boasts more than half of all the beaches in Sydney and a population of more than 266,000. The Council is committed to maintaining a high level of customer service to the local community.
Northern Beaches Council is working closely with the community to build strategies that enhance our quality of life, promote sustainable development and protect our environment.
SERVICE REQUIRED:
Council invites Respondents to participate in this Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the provision of a subscription to a Digital Assets Management (DAM) platform to house and make accessible the Northern Beaches Libraries Local Studies collection. Offered to the Northern Beaches Community as History Hub, the solution will provide easy public access to over 30,000 images and documents including photographs, maps, factsheets, ephemera and oral histories.
The scope includes:
- Supply and implementation of a cloud hosted DAM system that can store a minimum of 700GB with capacity for expansion;
- Project and product support documentation;
- Migration of all files from the existing DAM (Recollect hosted by NZMS) to the selected DAM;
- Capacity to support the following file types and sizes:
- MP3 to at least 300MB
- MP4 to at least 4GB
- pdf to at least 400MB
- jpeg to at least 40MB
An initial and ongoing program for staff training in use of the platform;
A responsive customer service module to efficiently resolve technical issues;
Conducting of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and resolution of any resulting issues;
Ongoing hosting, maintenance and support.
The Contract term will be three (3) years with an extension at Council's option of an additional two (2) consecutive + two (2) year terms.
