Toowoomba Region Libraries operate twelve physical branches and a mobile library offering a range of services to the region’s residents. The branches differ in size and usage levels with Toowoomba City Library being the largest and busiest branch servicing both city and regional residents.

Toowoomba Region Libraries uses a range of RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) equipment to streamline circulation processes for customers and staff. This equipment includes an AMH&S system in the Toowoomba City Library that is used to return and sort borrowed items and to assist staff in managing internal work processes. The City Library AMH&S system has now reached end-of-life.

Offers are being sought for the provision of an appropriate AMH&S system, and responses to this RFO should address the following areas:

- Supply, installation and commissioning of a replacement AMH&S, including all hardware and software, including provision of operating procedures documentation and staff training.

- Ongoing support and maintenance.
