Local businesses and artisans are invited to take centre stage at the 2025 Childers Festival, with stallholder expressions of interest now open.

Known for its vibrant atmosphere, the iconic festival draws tens of thousands of visitors annually, transforming the streets of Childers into a bustling hub of culture, cuisine, and creativity.

Tourism, Airport and Information Technology Services portfolio spokesperson Cr Steve Cooper said the event offered an unparalleled platform for local businesses to connect with a diverse and engaged audience.

“The Childers Festival is a celebration of everything that makes our region unique,” Cr Cooper said.

“It’s a chance for businesses and creatives to showcase their products to festivalgoers from all over Queensland and beyond.”

Cr Cooper highlighted Council’s ongoing commitment to support the local community, including offering discounted stallholder fees for those in the 4660 postcode.

“We’re proud to provide a 50% discount on site fees to local stallholders to help highlight the talent and produce we have right here in Childers,” he said.

“Whether you’re a local artist, farmer, or small business, this is your opportunity to shine at one of the region’s biggest events.”
