It is planned that this Tender will be released late January, 2025.

Goulburn-Murray Water (GMW) require the services of a Design & Construct contractor to design, fabricate and install a new gantry crane at Torrumbarry Weir.

The following components would be supplied as part of this upgrade works:

  • New gantry crane
  • New Main Hoist
  • New Auxiliary Hoist
  • New Long Travel Drives (Increased capacity and braking)
  • New Cable Reel
  • New Generator
  • New Electric Hydraulic Power Pack to Run the Log Grabber
  • Capacity 12.5 T
  • Approximate overall dimensions 18m rail centreline to centreline
  • Removal of existing gantry crane

The form of contract will be a VPS Minor Works Contract.
