Tenders are invited for street tree planting and associated services across the Sunshine Coast Council region.

This is a Separable Portions contract, with each Portion covering five (5) geographical zones in the Sunshine Coast Council local government area, consisting of the following:

• Separable Portion 1 – Tree Planting program

This Separable Portion relates to Council’s street tree planting program and ongoing scheduled maintenance within road side verges and parklands throughout the region.

• Separable Portion 2 – Cool Urban Places project

This Separable Portion relates to Council’s Cool Urban Places project, with the planting of 7,500 trees over a period of 2 years, across urban areas. Project planting locations will focus on linking streets to parks, open spaces and schools, community/hospital precincts and active transport pathways. The scope of work includes an ongoing scheduled maintenance program.

• Separable Portion 3 - Adhoc/Overflow

This Separable Portion requires contractors to provide tree planting and maintenance services that are not covered through scheduled or project work under Separable Portion 1 and 2 and will be on an Adhoc engagement to support the workload overflow of other contractors, and/or project work.

The scope of work for all Separable Portions includes but is not limited to:

• Tree Planting,

• Tree Maintenance,

• Tree Watering,

• Tree Mulching,

• Fertilising,

• Defect and Hazard Inspections,

• Herbicide and Pesticide Application,

• Contract Reporting.
