This Tender is invited by the Issuer.
To perform data analysis, the Marketing Intelligence and Analytics (MIA) Section uses Statistical Analysis System (SAS) to retrieve and perform analysis using datasets provided by the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA).
The work MIA produces using SAS are complex, timely and require in-depth knowledge of SAS, data analysis techniques and NDIS business knowledge to respond to market policy data enquiries.
MIA is intending to upskill five of its team members in using advanced SAS data analysis and programming techniques to improve on its ability to produce high quality and efficient data outputs in response to the foreseeable rise in demand of data request and research by Branch, Group and the Department.
MIA seeks to procure enrolments for five staff members in live online SAS training courses to build data analysis technique and knowledge. This is to ensure that section team members are given the adequate skills to respond to the expected rise in demand of data work deliverables.
The market conditions sought from suppliers are as follows:
- The supplier can provide SAS training through online channels to ensure value for money (avoid the need for travel expenses associated with in-person training) and to cater towards the section team members residing in different states across Australia.
- The supplier can facilitate SAS training by certified and experienced instructors as well as wield the appropriate technology and software tools.
- The supplier can facilitate the relevant SAS content and provide digital copies of course content for MIA to refer to after contract is completed.
- The supplier has a history of experience with delivering successful training to the public sector, particularly the Australian Public Service (APS).
