Gladstone Amateur Basketball Association Inc. (GABA) has received funding to upgrade the changerooms at their Kev Broome Stadium facility in Gladstone as part of the Minor Infrastructure and Inclusive Facilities Fund. Suitably qualified and experienced building contractors are invited to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) for this project. The estimate project value is approximately $350,000 to $400,000 (GST exclusive) with commencement an anticipated of works in Q1 2025.

Key Scope Elements include:

• Turnkey delivery of the project including all elements of the scope below

• Refurbishment and modernisation of the existing changerooms and amenity areas including installation of new DDA complaint amenities, alterations to the room layouts and new finishes to all areas

• Structural and Services works to accommodate the new layout including integration with and modification of existing elements

• Provide advice and assistance to the consultant team to ensure the project meets the client’s design intent within the project budget

• Attainment of any approvals required to align with local regulations and standards

Submission Requirements:

• Expression of Interest in letter format indicating the contractor’s interest in participating in the tender including company details and contact information

• Capabilities Statement demonstrating experience in similar refurbishment projects, particularly in Gladstone and the surrounding region.
