Western Power is a Western Australian State Government owned corporation responsible for building, maintaining and operating an electricity network that connects our 2.3 million customers to traditional and renewable energy sources, delivering an essential service to our community.

Scope Overview

Western Power is seeking registrations of interest from suitably qualified and experienced companies capable of delivering Metering Field Services, throughout the entire Southwest Interconnected Network (SWIN*). The Work is to include but not limited to:

• Meter addition and alteration services, including:
• meter installation/replacement;
• communications device installation/replacement
• overhead/underground meter and panel replacement
• energisation services; and
• other related services.

*SWIN is the primary electricity network in Western Australia, covering the state's south-western corner. It includes Perth, the capital city, and extends north to Kalbarri, south to Albany, and east to Kalgoorlie.

EOI Requirements

Suppliers are required to respond to the following for the EOI submission:

1. Demonstrate track record and capability in delivering “METERING FIELD SERVICES” in relation to the high-level Scope requirements stated above.

2. Brief description of your expertise and associated ICT technical solutions utilised relevant to the above;

3. References from at least three customers who have been offered similar services.

4. Regional presence: how would your organisation propose to handle regional metering services.

5. Safety, Health & Environment information to be requested as part of this exercise.
