Alpine Resorts Victoria (ARV) manages potable water for Mt Buller village. This contract encompasses the work required to prepare for the decommissioning of one of the two raw water storage reservoirs (Burnt Hut Reservoir).

The Opportunity
The Principal invites the Tenderer to submit a Tender for the construction works associated with the integration of the Mt Buller water treatment plants and reticulation systems as set out in Part C – Tender specification.
The works are to enable the decommissioning of Burnt Hut Reservoir and includes:
o Decommissioning of the Low Level Water Treatment Plant (WTP), including re-deployment of components from Low-Level WTP to the High-Level WTP, and surrounding pipework modifications and electrical transmission line termination.
o Installation and commissioning of pressure reducing valve pits, cross-connection between High and Low level reticulation system and various electrical works including improvements to existing switch boards, wiring/cabling, and integration with back-up generators as described in Part C – Tender Specification.
o Integration with ARV’s SCADA platform and collaboration with ARV’s SCADA consultant.
The scope of works does not include demolition of the Burnt Hut Reservoir or WTP buildings
Purpose of this Request for Tender
The purpose of this RFT is to:
• provide information to Tenderers about the Integration of Potable Water Treatment & Reticulation
• set out the Conditions of Tendering that will govern the Tender Process
• invite each Tenderer to submit a fully costed and binding Tender for participation in the Integration of Potable Water Treatment & Reticulation, which complies with the Conditions of Tendering; and
• inform Tenderers of the evaluation criteria that the Principal will use to evaluate Tenders
Site visit
This clause 3.2 applies if indicated in Item 0.
A Site visit will be carried out at the time and on the date stated in the Tender Particulars. The Tenderer must comply with any protocols, procedures or requirement notified by the Principal prior to any such Site visit.
If Item 0 indicates that the Site visit is mandatory, the Tenderer must visit and inspect the Site and its surroundings. Tenderers are required to provide the names and contact details of its representatives that will attend the Site visit, at least 24 hours prior to time and date of the Site visit by contacting the Tender Officer. Tenderers will only be permitted to have the maximum number of representatives set out in Item 0 attend any Site visit.
Tender briefing session
This clause 3.3 applies if indicated in Item 11A.
A tender briefing session will be carried out at the location and at time and on the date stated in the Tender Particulars. The Tenderer must comply with any protocols, procedures or requirement notified by the Principal prior to any such tender briefing session.
If Item 11A indicates that the tender briefing session is mandatory, the Tenderer must attend the tender briefing session.
Tenderers are required to provide the names and contact details of its representatives that will attend the tender briefing session, at least 24 hours prior to time and date of the tender briefing session by contacting the Tender Officer.
Tenderers will only be permitted to have the maximum number of representatives set out in Item 11A attend any tender briefing session.
